We partner with welfare providers in the UK and run employability sessions for beneficiaries. Our sessions are delivered as webinars or face-to-face workshops depending on requirements. At the end of the session we leave behind practical tools and templates for beneficiaries to work on in order to improve their skills and move them along on their journey to employment/self employment.
All our workshops are delivered by qualified information, advice and guidance professionals and work coaches. The types of workshops we deliver are below.
Starting your own business/Self Employment
This workshop helps women take the first steps towards thinking about their business/self employment plan. It includes practical and creative sessions to focus on generating concepts and ideas; provides practical information on the benefits that can be claimed if self-employed; and provides guidance on next steps. All participants are given handouts and templates for business plans and financial budgeting.
The aim of this workshop is to get women to start thinking about what they want to achieve with respect to work. It includes taking stock of their current situation; setting future aspirations; and taking practical steps to start the journey back to work. Participants are given handouts, information on jobsites and CV templates.
The employability workshop was very informative and realistic. All information give was encouraging as well as telling us where and who we can approach to start our own business in keep with all the regulation so we can be well prepared for any hiccups/or queries that may arise. Also we could go back if we needed more help or reassurance at a later stage. All in all it help us to set a goal and all the work need to be done before hand. Thank you
