Cambric Cotton – Shanti

This scarf has been made by attendees as part of their paid work experience on our Make and Mend programme. Graduates of this free six-month programme, get a sewing machine to take home and can perform repairs, alterations and create new products. By buying this scarf you will help fund a woman’s place on this programme.

This colourful lady dressed in North Indian attire strikes a charming pose whilst a swan looks at her enquiringly. The scarf is made in cambric cotton fabric and is light weight and closely woven.

We are aiming to minimise our environmental footprint as much as possible and to do away with unnecessary packaging. All scarves will be delivered in a small hand-made reusable fabric pouch, at no added cost.
