Canvas Tote – Rina

This gorgeous, sturdy canvas tote is made from an upcycled saree with a Ghanian Kente fabric inside. Excitingly, the tote is fully reversible!
Measurements – Length: 40cms, Width: 36cms, with handles of 29 cms.

The story behind Kundakala – a daughter honouring her mother’s vision of empowering women – has touched a similar chord amongst other people. We have had donations by the bagfuls of sarees that belonged to mothers all over the UK. We are very touched by this faith in us.

This product has been made by Maggie, an alumnus of our programmes, who has now started her own micro business with the Kundakala Collective.
