Celebratory buntings

These beautiful buntings are made from scraps of sarees and would elevate any celebratory ocassions. They come in a variety of lengths. We have one each of each length!
The story behind Kundakala – a daughter honouring her mother’s vision of empowering women – has touched a similar chord amongst other people. We have had donations by the bagfuls of sarees that belonged to mothers all over the UK. We are very touched by this faith in us.
This product has been made by graduates of our Make and Mend programme. They enroll onto our Alterations and Upcycle programme to learn how to make professional products that can be sold in markets all over.
