This scarf has been made by attendees as part of their work experience on our Make and Mend programme. Graduates of this free six-month programme, get a sewing machine to take home and can perform repairs, alterations and create new products. By buying this scarf you will help fund a woman’s place on this programme.
Ananta means “infinite” in Sanskrit and in Hindu philosophy the peacock symbolizes the cycle of time. This beautiful art work is printed on Tussar satin material.
We are aiming to minimise our environmental footprint as much as possible and to do away with unnecessary packaging. All scarves will be delivered in a small hand-made reusable fabric pouch, at no added cost.
